A Community of Caring School

All students at Sarasota Middle School are responsible for learning and their behavior. At the beginning of the year, all students are issued a Student Agenda. This Student Agenda is to be carried with the student at all times. The agenda is designed to help them stay organized. Pages are not to be folded or torn out and the agenda is not to be destroyed or damaged. Students will be required to purchase a new agenda if theirs is lost or destroyed.

Students expectations are listed in the front of the Student Agenda. All students must be familiar with the expectations at Sarasota Middle School.

Discipline

The SMS Behaviors and Consequences Chart is located in the Student Agenda. Please check it so you are familiar with it. Please ask your student for his/her agenda and read through it.
