Welcome to Sarasota Middle School and the Osprey team. We, the Osprey team teachers, hope this year will be productive and enjoyable for all of us. We believe very strongly that your student is the most important part of our educational system and that if parents, staff and students all work together, each of our goals for the year can be attained.

Our goals include providing your child with the best possible education, meeting the special needs of children in this age group, building the self-confidence of each student, and helping all students develop a sense of responsibility to further improve their work habits so that they will be prepared for high school and work in our community.

Students, parents and teachers must work together to produce the best environment for our children. We hope that all parents will take an active role in their child's education. Please check your child's agenda daily for assignments and communications.

The best way to ensure success for your child is through communication and cooperation between students, parents, and teachers. Please don't hesitate to contact us. You can write a note in your child's agenda or call us at 361-6464 and leave a message and we will call you back.
